The Rio de Los Pinos Valley and Toltec Gorge are a couple features of northern New Mexico's very diverse terrain. The river runs through the gorge sum 600 ft below the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The valley & gorge are seen here from the east, along the narrow gauge railroad's tracks. New Mexico, USA.

Jeremy Rhoades grew up at 10,400' among the 14ers of the Sawatch Range, Colorado's highest mountains. In his late 20's, he relocated to Alaska in order to fulfill a life-long obsession with "BIG" mountains and extreme snowfall & temperatures. Photography was the way for Jeremy to share the towering mountains of Alaska and a unique, almost surreal light in the northern latitudes. Jeremy has moved back to Colorado & continues to share his love of high altitudes, as mountain landscapes are the clear focus of his work. He hopes you will enjoy the many scenes made available here.
