Artist's Description
The Mt Elbert Forbay reflects its namesake mountain dressed in early fall colors. The previously cool, rainy, and snowy weather gave way to a clear, crisp, Rocky Mountain September sky on this day. Twin Lakes, Colorado USA.
About Jeremy Rhoades
Jeremy Rhoades grew up at 10,400' among the 14ers of the Sawatch Range, Colorado's highest mountains. In his late 20's, he relocated to Alaska in order to fulfill a life-long obsession with "BIG" mountains and extreme snowfall & temperatures. Photography was the way for Jeremy to share the towering mountains of Alaska and a unique, almost surreal light in the northern latitudes. Jeremy has moved back to Colorado & continues to share his love of high altitudes, as mountain landscapes are the clear focus of his work. He hopes you will enjoy the many scenes made available here.
