Description
A cold February wind blows over the Sawatch Range and Colorado's highest summit Mt Elbert (14,440'). Mt Elbert ranks as the highest point in the Rocky Mountains and the 2nd highest point in the lower 48 states, behind Mt Whitney in CA (14,501'). It is located about 10 miles southwest of Leadville in Lake County, Colorado, USA.
